Straight talk is the best

Yes There customer service is slow, but they have an excellent phone services, and a really great price, if you get a phone that dosent require a sims card you'll have service everywhere i love it!

not for those who value customer service

It is nice to have the $45 unlimited plan, but customer service sucks. I have also been through 2 phones that didn't work. I have spent a total of seven hours with customer service so far in two incidents and havent had service for a year as of yet. I wouldn't really recommend this service.

Customer service

If you want to talk to tech support the easiest way is to press #3 when you get into 611 which is to check your phone balance but it takes only a minute or two for them to answer then have them transfer you to tech support and they answer right away almost every time...

Finally, a Super Prepaid Deal!

All my phones have showed the lowest signal for rural Iowa, (south of Des Moines). However, my Samsung R451C is so clear and my callers commented on the clearness also. Even better than when I used other phones in Des Moines or elsewhere. The charge holds well. I like the call timer and data counter on phone. I get over double the minutes & triple the texts for much less $. Plus 30MB Web. (not 5 cents each KB). Either plan is superb! The typesetting is nice and a good size on the R451C. It has all the features I need.

Straight Talk Customer Service

They have by far the worst customer service in the universe!!! Uggghhh! I hate it. Been on the phone waiting now for an hour and 1/2 for customer service to answer!

Straight Talk has better network?

Looking at som of the posts, I can't help but to smile. ******Straight talk uses the Verizon network!!!!!!!!!! The use the same network!!!!

Used to have Verizon, Now I have had a straight talk phone for almost a year now and I love it! Some little problems here and there but nothing like the problems that I had with Verizon. I get service better cell phone service with straight talk. Overall I am very please with my purchase.

Contract Service with out the Contrac?

So - I am long time customer of U.S Cellular, having lived in Chicago most my life - Before accepting a Job in North West Indiana, moving me out in the Middle of "NO WHERE", great House, Tons of Land - Cellular Service "BLOWS", the only carrier that works is - You guessed it "VERIZON". So I signed a 2 year contract with Verzion, paying nearly 120.00 a month for my Cell and Unlimited Talk, Web and Text. Then comes along Straight Talk! I learned their service is leased on Verizon towers! So I call up Verizon and ask, "What can you do for me" There Response! Nothing! Two weeks after purchasing a Straight Talk Moto Razor just to Test out the service! I am am so pleased I paid the Early Contract Cancellation Fee just to be on their service, which oddly enough I Paid Verizon to leave them but stay on there network. Yes that right, so I ate $150.00 fee, but you know what! I have service, Every Where I go. No Dropped Calls, Unlimited WEB - TALK - TEXT, My phone was 80 BUCKS, my Service is a third of what I was paying. Need more reason to switch! Dude, dump your provider, and get on a network that's been around since before ALL OF THEM! Tracfone has been there forever, since i was a TEEN. They are a great company you will not be disappointed. The only sad part, "Straight Talk" Let the cat out the bag and told the truth! Let me explain. See yoou are told by the big boys, our services and there fees are based on comparable providers and to cover our operating costs. Its a LIE! If a Pre-Paid Service can offer you service that they are essentially leasing from a 3rd person. Verzion could have offered it even cheaper then to begin with... Think of all the millions Verizon's CEO is making! No wonder our country's up side down! EAT THAT VERZION!

Great Walmart Deal

I never though I would enjoy and love a prepaid company as much as I do Straight Talk. The deal is just wonderful and its helping me save over $50 a month versus my previous carrier. Straight Talk's $45 unlimited use plan is great for people like me who are always on their phones and dont want to worry about overage fees. I hated having to deal with contracts and with Straight Talk, I have the benefits of major company without the details. I have a selection of affordable and trendy phones to purchase and the benefit of being on the stable and dependable Verizon network. I was even able to keep my old number so its even easier for family and friends to keep in touch. Seriously, Walmart can't make it easier and more affordable to have a cell phone.

they offered unlimited internet but provided nothing at all. but other than that i am really happy w/ the service. only b/c i wasnt interested in the internet in the first place. pic mail works fime too

Amazing value!

Having been with AT&T, T-MOB, Veriz, Metro POS etc., I'm blown away by Straight Talk. To have the advantages of Verizon's solid network without paying their high fees is great. And since it's sold at Walmart, I can always buy more airtime easily. Very nice!

Loving it

I bought 3 of these phones for me and my two daughters and they are in love!! Before I had Sprint and TMobile but was limited to certain numbers at certain times of the day but now we all can talk anytime, all day everyday and it is well worth the $45 I am paying!! Thanks a million for Straight talk!!

Lovin' It!

We love the phone and the no contract option this phone gives us. We were sprint customers and loved our blackberry phones, but hated the price. We also travel to Wisconsin to visit family and the coverage has never given us a problem!! Thanks to Straight Talk for making our life easier with a little more money in our pockets.

Most good and a few poblems

Great connectivity from Colorado Springs traveling to LA and Las Vegas and back. Monthly rate of $45 is an e]Excellent value. I had a few problems getting started. Order online with overnite delivery which took 3 days and no refund on extra $15 charge. Problem with first month's payment which resulted in having to purchase it twice. Wrote a letter recently asking for a refund. Buy the phone at Walmart and don't expect much from Straight Talk's service.

6 months of great service

Straight talk, a division of TracPhone, has contracted with the Verizon Network for Straight Talk. I dropped Verizon for Straight Talk, because I get unlimited usage for half the cost.
