A baby is a new chapter for every family. The little thing will change your life. Ever since I got pregnant, all baby stuff looked so adorable that I wish I could buy everything home. However, some of them are necessary or helpful while a lot of the cute stuff is dispensable. So what on earth do you need to prepare before you give birth, what are necessities for a new baby? The article will list all necessities based on four categories: Feeding, Clothing, On the Way and Living.
Feeding
At least 2 Nursing Bottles (Glass or BPA Free. Glass is recommended for daily use. BPA Free is recommended for use outdoors in case of breaking.) and Nipples
Bottle/nipple Brushes
Baby Bottle Cleanser
Bottle Sterilizer (Nursing Bottles should be sterilized every time after use.)
Lots of Nursing Pads (if you are breast feeding mom)
Nursing Bras
Nipple Cream (if you are breast feeding mom)
Brest Bumper + Milk Storage Bottle/Bag (if you are breast feeding and working mom)
Bottle Warmer
Formula Milk (Just in case you cannot breast feed your baby.)
Nursing Pillow (Believe me, it will relief your waist.)
Clothing
Several Burp Clothing
Lots of Drool Bibs
6 – 8 Onesies (mix of short-sleeve and long-sleeve) and 2 – 3 outfits (if your baby is coming in winter)
3 – 5 Pants
6 stretchy Sleepers
6 pairs of socks to wear with onesies and Sleepers if not foot covered
2 pair of Cotton Mittens to prevent babies from scratching themselves
3 new born baby hats
3 large blankets (1 lightweight and 2 swaddling blankets)

There is no right answer between disposable diapers or reusable cloth diapers
- If you choose Disposable Diapers: prepare 1 month supply of New Born size Diapers (a new born usually needs around 6 diapers per day; don’t buy too many in case your baby is big or grows quickly)
- If you choose Cloth Diapers: prepare 2 – 3 dozens Cloth Diapers and safety Diaper Pins to secure reusable diapers
